Charlize Theron has shared her reaction to Matt Damon’s impressive physical transformation for movie The Odyssey.
The actress, who plays the 50-year-old actress's love interest in Christopher Nolan’s epic film, praised the actor's physique after seeing his transformation for the role of Greek king Odysseus.
During a conversation with ET about The Odyssey, the South African star praised her co-star’s transformation and said, "I've seen him without all of that suit on. He's incredible. Incredible."
She continued, “I'm like staring at him weirdly. I'm looking at his a** right now. I shouldn't do that! That's just wrong. He looked amazing, yes.”
Meanwhile, Damon changed his fitness routine for the role of Greek king Odysseus, focusing on his diet and training to prepare for the character.
“It was more about just getting really, really physically fit, which just really involves changing your diet, just a whole lifestyle change,” he explained.
The film, based on Homer’s Greek tale, also features stars including Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya and Lupita Nyong’o.
Notably, Theron and Damon previously worked together in the 2000 film The Legend of Bagger Vance.
