Thanksgiving 2020: Michael Jordan donates $2 million to Feeding America

Amid a global pandemic of coronavirus, Americans are celebrating their most enjoyed festival of Thanksgiving with lots of safety precautions.

Despite this year’s challenges, NBA legend Michael Jordan shared his part back to the society as he donated $2 million, earned from the success of The Last Dance documentary to a hunger-relief organization, Feeding America.

The Last Dance mini-series documentary became a critically-acclaimed series, especially within the sports community and basketball fans all over the world. It was named as the winner of The Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

Michael Jordan, 57, this thanksgiving aimed to use the film’s success to give back to the people and lend a helping hand to people in need the most during these hard times.
