Matt Reeves has finally confirmed the cast of The Batman Part II through a series of posts on social media.
On Thursday, May 14, the director turned to X to announce, posting clips from the 2022 film with personal messages for each star.
Robert Pattinson is set to return as Bruce Wayne, with the filmmaker posting, “We meet again, my friend…”
Jeffrey Wright also reprises his role as Jim Gordon, accompanied by the message, “Here we go again my friend.”
Andy Serkis is back as Alfred Pennyworth, with the 60-year-old writing, “Are you ready, my friend…?”
Colin Farrell returns as Penguin, teased with, “Round two my friend…?” Jayme Lawson and Gil Perez-Abraham are also rejoining.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Barry Keoghan are reportedly joining the project, although Reeves has not officially confirmed their casting yet.
Notably, Batman Part II is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 1, 2027.
