Olivia Rodrigo, who is set to release her new album, revealed the main vibe of the album as multiple tracks will share the same inspiration.

The singer is known for break up songs like, drivers license, good 4 u, traitor, happier, and vampire, which helped her get recognition all around the world.

But this year, the songstress is experimenting with love songs.

Present on NBC’s The Tonight Show on Thursday night, April 30, she revealed what she has planned for her forthcoming album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.

The 23-year-old gushed, “I knew that I wanted this record to be about romantic love in more of a positive sense,”

She added that the expected songs would have “a little bit of sadness and longing. And melancholy, because all my favorite love songs have that.”

Olivia revealed that the main inspiration for the multiple songs on the album was the characters, Miranda and Steve from HBO’s Sex And The City.

Notably, the track list of the album has not been announced as of yet, except for the leading single, Drop dead, which was a hit as soon as it was launched.

It is to be noted that the anticipated project will be premiered on June 12, 2026, via Geffen Records and the supporting tour, Unraveled Tour, will start from September 2026.
