Nick Cannon reveals surprise rule for twins with Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon has admitted to having a double standard when it comes to the parenting of twins that he shares with Mariah Carey.

The father-of-twelve dished that they have separate rules and restrictions when it comes to dating, which is simply based on gender.

On The TMZ Podcast, the Masked Singer host dished “My son [Moroccan] has been dating, and I’ve allowed it, I encouraged it. And my daughter…”

The host then chimed in that he hoped that the comedian was doing the same for Monroe, to which Nick responded that he was not.

“First of all, it’s absolutely a double standard… and I know I get in trouble a lot ‘cause I say things with my chest. But there is a difference when parenting a son and then when parenting a daughter. I am more protective of my daughter…”

The Gigolo singer went on to explain that he believes there are things that he has to protect his daughter from, such as certain types of individuals.

Nick said that if someone put their hands on Monroe that would be his worst nightmare because it would end up with him in jail and acknowledged that he allowed her to go on dates with Moroccan in attendance.
