Meghan Trainor has dished on the experience of releasing her latest album Toy With Me and how difficult it is to get listeners in the current day and age.
The Super Bass singer’s seventh studio album dropped two days ago in April 24th, and the former TV personality opened up about what she thinks of it.
In an interview with Valentine In The Morning the singer stated, “I’ve been crying a lot and this album has been the hardest one for me, everything that could go wrong has gone wrong…everything is different now, it’s hard to get anyone to hear your music.”
Megan added, “I’m going to every radio station I can being like please, so I feel like I’m doing my best but I also feel like outside in the world I’m in m head a lot like nobody likes my best work yet.”
The Made You Look singer went on to say that she felt like she was in an upside down land and had to realise that she can’t give strangers power over her mind and that she feels proud of herself.
Meghan also revealed that she felt good about herself after she had filmed her shimmer music video and that she sobbed because of the confident boost the way her body looked gave her.
