Hilary Duff has recently opened up that she’s all set to surprise people with new music.
The Younger actress reflects on her Small Rooms, Big Nerves music outing earlier in January, which marks her first time touring after more than 10 years.
While speaking to PEOPLE, Hilary says she’s “so excited for the scale to change”.
“There is something so sweet about getting to see everyone's face, and being so intimate and close with everyone,” explains the 38-year-old.
Lizzie McGuire actress tells the outlet that it was “really a great way for me to start and build confidence but I just feel like I know what I'm doing and kind of got my reps in”.
However, this summer, Hilary is going to perform across the globe through her The Lucky Me tour, which will begin on June 22 in West Palm Beach, Fla., and it is currently scheduled to conclude in January 2027 in Mexico City, Mexico.
A Cinderella Story star mentions that now she’s “ready for more”.
“I'm ready for my set list to change. I'm ready to surprise people with some of the songs that I'm going to be singing and my new music,” points out the actress and singer.
Elsewhere in the interview, Hilary confesses the most fun part about the live shows is to “realise how much the old songs mean to people”.
“A lot of those songs just live rent-free in my head, so it'll be nice for the other music to catch up and join the mix,” continues the mom-of-four.
Cheaper by Dozen actress adds, “It’s this very cool way to connect in our lives now and everyone’s grown up and we feel like we have a lot of the same life experiences,” while talking about connecting with her fans.
