Nicki Minaj has avoided the shocking and dangerous incident that took place at the White House Correspondents' Dinner by being a no-show.
The Chun-Li rapper was invited and set to attend the annual gala held by the President of the United States Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the Washington Hilton, since she was a guest of Fox News.
Although the vocal supporter of the Trump Administration was not present at the event, a number of officials like Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth were there with other important figures when they heard gunshots.
The dinner was going as planned when gunshots were heard by attendees, after ehich chaos erupted and they fled to to find shelter under their tables and the Trumps were immediately evacuated from the event.
Nicki has not yet commented on her absence and neither has the news channel that invited her, and the shooter has been caught by law enforcement after the incident.
Notably, in a press conference, Trump called the suspect a sick person and reveled that he was a lone wolf, adding that the shooter has been apprehended.
