Michael, based on life of Michael Jackson, is becoming the centre of attention despite of mixed reviews.

Filming starring Jaafar Jackson as King of Pop, has covered several key moments of his career including, iconic Billie Jeans performance and Thriller music video.

Following the release of the film, the viewing ritual of it in theatres is going viral on social media.

During the biopic many fans has shared videos of dancing, singing and even doing Jackson’s iconic moonwalk in front of the screen.

The fans also sing along to iconic songs and cheering loudly turning the theatre into a concert venue.

Fans on X has shared their experience with many praising the film detailing and calling it a “full experience” rather than a traditional watch.

“Michael Jackson fans turning the theater into a whole concert experience,” wrote one.

One more shared their experience, recalling, “Audience was singing his songs before the lights went down; 90% stayed to sing/dance during ALL the end credits. Felt like a concert some moments.”

“This is the energy I expect to see!!” one more said.

While fans celebrate the project, several critics have described it as overly “sanitised” suggesting that it side steps the more controversial aspects of Jackson’s life.

Despite the mixed reviews, the film has been a commercial success with the opening weekend suggesting box office to exceed $65 million domestically.
