Jaafar Jackson, who is talk of the town with his role as Michael Jackson, in biopic Michael, opened up about his favourite scene while filming.
The biographical drama traces King of Pop's journey from a child star in The Jackson 5 to becoming one of the biggest global entertainer of all time.
The movie highlights key moments in his rise to fame, including the record-breaking album Thriller.
In the film Jaafar has re-created the lead single, Thriller, music video, having an uncanny resemblance with his uncle.
In a conversation with the Entertainment Tonight, when asked what it was like filming the music video, he said, “It was surreal, it was weird because it was just like going back in time, especially I wasn't even born in that time.”
He continued, “For me to see and look in the mirror and I'm the zombie version of Michael and then to see all the zombies around me, it was one of my favourite moments, I think, during the duration of filming.”
In the film it is the biggest standout sequence and is treated like a full cinematic event.
The project reportedly recreated the iconic video shot-for-shot, capturing the eerie theatrical tone of the original bit.
Michael movie is now running in theatres.
