D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, is receiving widespread attention after being transferred to custody in Los Angeles.
As per latest information, the 21-year-old singer is being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Downtown Los Angeles, alongside Nick Reiner, who faces accusations in connection with his parents’ deaths.
According to People magazine, jail records show Burke was moved on April 22 and is being held without bail ahead of his April 23 hearing.
On April 20, Burke was charged with first degree murder, alleged sexual misconduct involving a child under 14, and mutilation of human remains, in relation to the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office alleges the killing took place on April 23, 2025, after Rivas became a witness in a separate case involving alleged sexual misconduct.
However, Burke has denied the allegations and entered a not guilty plea.
His attorneys have maintained that "the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez."
This comes after Reiner was charged with two counts of first degree murder in the fatal stabbing of his parents. He is scheduled to return to court on May 29 for a preliminary hearing.
