D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, is dominating headlines as social media erupts over his latest legal update.

Just a day after TMZ reported that the 21-year-old singer had been transferred to LA County Men's Central Jail and placed in a segregated cell, fans took to social media in droves to make one thing very clear that their sympathy is not with him.

For the unversed, Burke was arrested April 16 and charged April 20 with murder, sexual abuse of a minor, and mutilation of remains.

The charges center on the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose dismembered body was found last September inside a Tesla registered to him.

Within hours, thousands of comments flooded X (formerly Twitter) and almost none of them were about his jail conditions.

One internet user penned, "This gotta be a joke — you're telling me a dude who groomed, raped, and murdered a girl, left her body in his car, has no remorse, and made a song called Romantic Homicide — doesn't get the death penalty??"

"Imagine what that poor girl went through at his hands — only for the story to be about how HE is being treated in jail," another chimed in.

A third commenter shared, "Yes, let's all feel bad for the multi-millionaire who allegedly chose to not only abuse a minor but kill her after. Make it make sense."

A fourth online commenter noted, "They're protecting a man charged with killing a child. Where is that same energy for Celeste and her family?"
