Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s marriage nightmare: ‘I didn’t think I’d survive’

Jamie-Lynn Sigler has laid bare the darkest chapter of her life.

The 44-year-old actress revealed that she once fantasised about her own death during a “toxic and complicated” marriage that left her feeling utterly trapped.

The former The Sopranos star, was just 22 when she wed her then-manager A.J. Discala, a decision she now brands “disastrous”. 

Speaking candidly about her new memoir And So It Is, Sigler admitted those haunting thoughts weren’t about wanting to die, but a desperate cry for help.

“I needed someone to see how terrified and overwhelmed I was,” she confessed, revisiting the emotional turmoil she had buried for years.

The marriage lasted three years, but the scars ran deep. 

The songstress described feeling like a “failure”, adding she doesn’t believe she would have survived if she had stayed. 

A turning point came when she discovered troubling signs on her husband’s phone, confirming her fears that something wasn’t right.

Despite the pain, the Love Wrecked actress insists she isn’t out to attack her ex. 

Instead, she hopes her story will resonate with other women stuck in similar situations. 

“We were both caught up in something toxic,” she admitted, acknowledging the complicated nature of their bond.

Thankfully, life took a brighter turn when she met Cutter Dykstra, the man she now calls her rock. 

Within just two weeks, Sigler knew he was “the one”, despite initial doubts.

Now happily married with two sons, her powerful story is one of survival, strength and finally, finding safety after the storm.
