‘SNL’ cast member shares one tip for Colman Domingo ahead of hosting debut

Colman Domingo has appeared alongside Saturday Night Live member Sarah Sherman and singer Anitta to promote the upcoming show, where the former is set to make his hosting debut.

The Michael actor initially stood awkwardly as the cast mate made a callback to one of the show’s most iconic characters from recent years, Domingo, played by Marcello Hernandez.

Impersonating him, the cast member sang, “Came all this way, had to explain direct from Domnigo,” to which the host said that she had done that every time he said his name this week.

Sarah then quipped, “I’m sorry I have Domingo Stockholm Syndrome,” indicating that she misses the character.

Colman asked her if she had any tips for host first time hosting Saturday Night Live to which the comedia replied, “Yes, if you see food in the fridge labeled Sarah do not eat it.”

The Rustin actor then appeared confused and noted that that was obvious before Anitta implied that she had had it, and also apologised for it.

In a prior promo, the 56-year-old could be seen doubting his decision to say yes to another cast member’s sketch since he did not like her over-the-top ideas but could not bring himself to ultimately voice it.
