Tom Holland, who recently teased the fans by updating them about the ongoing production for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, said that “we are adding humour.”
The anticipated project from Marvel, which is said to be released on July 31, 2026, was reportedly in the post-production phase previously.
Talking with GQ Magazine, the star said that they are now shooting for “additional” scenes for the upcoming hit.
He said, “We’re finding some ways to add a little bit more humor. We’re layering in a villain plotline in a new way and some really fun stuff.”
The 29-year-old added that he is positive that they didn’t need to shoot more, but they want to make it “perfect” for the fans, calling it “icing on the cake.”
Tom stated, “I can positively say that the stuff we’re doing, we don’t need … The movie works and sings as it is. We’re just adding the icing on the cake in certain areas.”
The trailer for the movie that was released on March 18 has fans biting their nails, waiting for the launch date as the story continues of him, trying to navigate his way through new complications.
Notably, Zendaya will also be joining Tom for Christopher Nolan’s movie, The Odyssey.
