Zendaya has recently broken silence amid her marriage speculations with Tom Holland.
Although the American actress is currently busy in promotions of her new movie, The Drama, alongside Robert Pattinson, she has also been garnering attention online over her relationship with fiancé Tom.
While Zendaya has not confirmed about her nuptials, she has set the record straight during an appearance on The New York Times’ Modern Love podcast on April 1.
“I just feel like for me there is this level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship,” says the 29-year-old.
The Euphoria actress realises that she’s “a public person and so is Tom,” and they both have “grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other so I really do understand that”.
However, Zendaya confesses that she’s “a very private person” in many ways.
“I don’t want to dismiss that like, ‘Stay out of my business’ or whatever, but I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well,” explains the Dune actress.
Elsewhere in the interview, Zendaya opens up that she and her Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-star are “not trying to hide from the world” about their relationship.
But the actress notes she wants to “preserve things for ourselves” so that they can enjoy moments within themselves and with their loved ones.
Meanwhile, Zendaya has acknowledged her fans’ interest towards their relationship but this is something she is never going to share.
“I hear it but also my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about but then also what I’m willing to share,” adds the actress.
