Dax Shepard finally breaks silence on Kristen Bell controversy

Dax Shepard has recently broken silence on his wife Kristen Bell’s controversy.

The actor and podcast host shares his thoughts almost six months after his wife stirred outrage with her anniversary post.

Addressing the backlash Kristen faced at the time, Dax reveals that he “was alerted by someone that this whole thing was happening”.

While speaking on latest episode of his Armchair Expert podcast, he mentions that he got to know through his wife’s publicist and she never informed me.

Therefore, Dax says that this was “brought to my attention” months later.

“I had no clue,” remarks the 51-year-old.

Dax explains that someone “comforted” him and he was like, “’What are you [talking about]?’ And then I had to go to Kristen, like, ‘What are they talking about?’ She’s like, ‘Oh, that post I had’”.

For those unaware, the Frozen actress posted a picture of her and her husband, writing in the caption on Instagram, “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who, after and [sic] episode of Dateline, once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would.’”

The Nobody Wants This actress drew negative reaction from her followers as some aruged that joking about “the violence others have actually had to face isn't it… This ain't right, joke or not”.
