David Schwimmer has launched a scathing attack on Kanye West.
The 59-year-old actor branded the rapper “one of the most recognisable hate-mongering bigots in the world.”
The Friends star took to Instagram to applaud brands including Pepsi, PayPal and Diageo for pulling their Wireless Festival sponsorships after the 48-year-old singer was announced as the headliner for all three nights this summer.
The decision comes after the Bully hitmaker’s previous antisemitic remarks, which sparked widespread outrage.
“It’s great to see companies with moral clarity,” David wrote.
“Unlike Wireless and Festival Republic, they decided not to platform an artist who became one of the most recognisable hate-mongering bigots in the world.”
He referenced Kanye’s controversial 2025 song Heil Hitler, the swastika t-shirts he sold online, and claims that he threatened Jewish people.
Madagascar star also further noted that despite a paid apology in the Wall Street Journal earlier this year, “his actions haven’t backed up his words.”
David argued that Kanye’s recent performances, including a show at SoFi Stadium in California supported by Lauryn Hill, Travis Scott, CeeLo Green and Don Toliver, sent the wrong message.
“His erratic behaviour has repeatedly shown he can’t be trusted. The community he has harmed most has no reason to trust his apology is authentic,” he said.
