Taylor Swift dodges drama as Blake Lively lawsuit hits roadblock

Taylor Swift is breathing a sigh of relief as her former pal Blake Lively faces a major setback in her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. 

The 36-year-old singer’s friendship with Blake has been on shaky ground ever since private messages between the two were leaked, revealing Taylor had called Justin a “bi——,” and thrusting her into the public eye amid the dispute.

According to insiders, Opalite hitmaker, who is gearing up to marry NFL star Travis Kelce this summer, is quietly pleased that the case is now “dramatically weaker” and unlikely to drag on until her big day. 

A federal judge recently dismissed 10 of Blake’s 13 claims, leaving just three, breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation for trial in May.

“It’s a huge relief. The case just got dramatically weaker,” a source told The Blast, adding that the Grammy winner is keen to keep her name out of the limelight. 

“She doesn’t want the case to drag on during her wedding season.”

Despite the setback, the 38-year-old actress isn’t backing down and remains determined to push her remaining claims through court. 

“No one understands why Blake isn’t trying to settle. From the outside, it looks like she’s already lost,” the insider said.

The tension between Lover singer and Gossip Girl star has left the former best friends navigating an awkward distance, with the pop superstar focused on staying clear of any further drama. 

Sources say Taylor is keeping a close eye on proceedings but is determined to enjoy a calm summer wedding, away from headlines and unwanted attention.
