Ariana Grande ‘confirms’ upcoming album rumours: ‘AG8’

Ariana Grande has been playfully dropping hints and teasing fans about new music which has convinced them that her eighth studio album is not too far off.

The Yes, And? singer has been active on social media, and in recent times sparked collaboration rumours with The Weeknd after the duo gave nods to their past hits on their Instagram.

In a new reel by her makeup brand r.e.m. beauty, celebrating the two-year anniversary of the brand’s glossy balm, the Warm singer revealed the amount of balms she has in her bag, along with a cheeky nod to how the number would come across.

Ariana wrote in the comments, “i have 8 glossy balms in my bag today [heart emoji] updated count,” also adding, “i realize what i’ve done by using that number but that is genuinely the count.”

The singer’s fans took to social media platforms to discuss her comments and compare it to how she teased her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine.

One internet user wrote on X, “she usually shuts down rumors instead of acknowledging… AG8 IS COMING.”

Another compiled all the hints to add, “8 heart emojis, 8 exclamation marks, 8 glossy balms in her bag, 8 leaves and petals on her new tattoos… she knows exactly what she’s doing.”
