Court documents filed this week show that a judge has ruled Denise Richards must provide her estranged husband Aaron Phypers with $5,000 a month in temporary spousal support as their bitter divorce continues.
The monthly payments, beginning March 5, are set to continue until the court issues further orders.
In addition to the ongoing support, the judge directed Richards to pay $25,000 toward Phypers’ attorney’s fees and an extra $5,000 that could be used for a forensic accountant, with the $30,000 total to be paid in three $10,000 instalments at the ends of March, April and May.
According to Page Six, the decision follows a request from Phypers filed in October 2025, in which he argued he lacked stable income and that Richards was financially capable of providing support during litigation.
Moreover, both Richards and Phypers testified under oath before the judge issued the support order.
As per the outlet, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has previously described the divorce process as difficult, and court battles between the former couple have included disputes over finances and living arrangements.
Richards was awarded a permanent restraining order against Phypers in November 2025 amid allegations he was abusive during their marriage, which he has denied.
Furthermore, the ex-spouses, who married in 2018 and separated in 2025, continue to negotiate unresolved issues related to their divorce, and it remains unclear how long the temporary support order will remain in effect.
