Scarlett St. Clair makes surprising revelation about new novel

Scarlett St. Clair has unveiled the next chapter in her acclaimed Blood of Lilith series with the announcement of her upcoming novel Coiled at the Roots, set to be published on October 6 by Bloom Books. 

The news comes with an exclusive first look at the book’s cover and new details about the direction of the series.

According to People, Coiled at the Roots continues the story of Lilith Leviathan, a powerful and magical refugee first introduced in Terror at the Gates. 

In the earlier instalment, Lilith used her hidden abilities to survive in the ancient city of Nineveh, where a fateful run-in with ruler Zahariev set off a slow-burn romance against a richly imagined backdrop.

According to St. Clair, the new book delves deeper into the gritty underworld that Zahariev navigates, likened to a mafia-style power structure, while Lilith fights against an oppressive Church to protect her family.
