Nick Jonas defends brother Joe on 'wild' drug abuse rumours

Nick Jonas, who shares daughter Malti with Priyanka Chopra, joined his brothers to perform on their much-anticipated JONAS20 tour.

Although the musical journey was “a hit,” the band faced a setback after a video from a concert began to make the rounds online.

During his recent appearance on Zach Sang Show podcast, Nick was asked to give his opinions on the viral video.

When the host enquired about the clip that left fans confused about Joe abusing drugs on stage, the Jumanji star denied the rumours as he responded to the question.

The Hollywood A-list star is of the opinion that “people are funny” for speculating that his brother was doing “lines of coke” during their performance.

While the idea seemed “wild” to him, he admitted that the concept of “rockstars” doing drugs is common amongst admirers.

Nick cleared the buzz by stating: “We don’t do that.”

However, the online community is still sceptical of his answer as one of the X users pointed out that the actor “begins to rub his nose” after answering.

The act is usually associated with detecting if a person is lying as their nose gets itchier.
