Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Updates segment mocks current events and satirizes news, so it comes as no surprise that they mentioned Donald Trump’s fixation on Greenland.

The President of the United States has made multiple attempts to annex the autonomous European country which falls under the Kingdom of Denmark for its strategic location and natural resources such as oil and gas.

Due to all this, the comedian and co-host of Weekend Updates Colin Jost stated, “President Trump has spent so much time stalking Greenland like an absolute psycho, he’s basically become a guy on a dating app.”

The comedian then created a fake conversation in between the two in which Trump writes to the arctic territory, “Seriously, I need you, I’d literally give 700 hundred billion dollars to be with you,” to which the nation responds that they aren’t trying to be mean but they aren’t interested.

In response, the businessman gets angry and threatens to kill them, which is not too far-fetched a possibility since The White House spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt has disclosed that military action is an option in regards to Greenland.
