25 countries are in a competition to take the winner’s trophy of Eurovision Song Contest back home this year with live show being hosted in Austria.

Organised by the European Broadcasting Union, the annual show is back in Austria after JJ achieved victory in last year’s competition that was held in Switzerland.

After two semi-final rounds on May 12 and 14, everyone awaits the finale which is expected to be held on May 16, 2026.

According to an online narrative, many predict Finland has 41% chances of winning the trophy, followed by Australia 22% and Greece 7%.

When will Eurovision song contest start?

Those waiting to watch the programme live can stream it live when the show starts at 21:00 CEST. The 25 finalists will be introduced through the traditional Flag Parade.

The lineup for the grand finale has been announced starting with Denmark, Germany and others.
