Harry Styles is opening up about his upcoming fourth album Kiss All Time. Disco, Occasionally and all the things that inspired it as well as its first track Aperture.
The two-time Grammy winner has given a number of interviews after retrieving from the limelight from a long while.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Greg James that experiencing music as a fan is one of the key inspirations behind the upcoming album.
"It's been about getting on the other side of the audience experience,” and being in live audiences that "led to the music he's making,” Harry revealed.
"Having had so many years on-stage, the last couple of years allowed me to be a real audience member and be in the crowd,” the 31-year-old stated, also recalling in the interview seeing American dance-punk band LCD Soundsystem live was something that was special for him.
Speaking of Aperture, Harry dished that he had almost finished creating the album when he got done with the first single to be released.
The As It Was hit maker noted that the song felt like a mission statement about what the album was truly about and felt like a perfect little bow on it.
