Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s bond is one for the books, since the duo of actors has been close friends for twenty-nine years now.

The pair, who also has their own two person two production companies together, always talks fondly of each other and have done so once again at the New York City premiere of the latest project, The Rip.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the Gone Girl actor quipped “I keep relearning things about Matt that I already knew and I forget them.”

“You’re really lucky if you can do this for a living,” he said. “And you’re exceptionally lucky if you can do it with people you love and care about,” Ben added.

Since Matt was also at the event, he interrupted and added that the Deep Water actor should keep complimenting him, to which the latter joked that he should pick the money up and put it in his pocket.

The star-studded duo’s friendship began in 1997 from their highly successful joint project Good Will Hunting and is still going strong.

Notably, Ben and Matt also produced the soon-to-drop film The Rip with their company Artists Equity and negotiated to fairly compensate cast and crew on the film.
