After the 44-year-old actor was rumoured dead, the online community flooded his last Instagram post to share tributes for the star.

One of the fans penned down: “It’s like he’s still with us,” while another was of the opinion that Seth is “gone but not forgotten.”

A third netizen wrote in the comment section: “Rest in peace, bro. An American Pickle will forever be a masterpiece.”

However, it was later reported that the rumours about his passing at the age of 44 were fabricated.

They sparked after a fake article PageShartt penned down about the star’s death, garnering attention with clickbait.

Most of his personal details were real in the report which led many to believe that the Superbad actor is no more.
