Enrique Iglesias is back in the headlines after an old video of the singer resurfaced online and sparked a fresh wave of debate across social media.

The clip originally dated back to 2002 Las Vegas meet and greet and was posted by the singer himself at the time on his official Instagram handle.

However, the Grammy winning artist's team recently re-uploaded it on X (formerly Twitter), fuelling renewed buzz.

One netizen did not mince their words, writing, "Kissing a celebrity who does not even know your name or existence is hoe behavior. Then he has no shame in posting this."

Another user questioned the timing of the repost, asking, "Isn't it an old video? Posting now?"

A third social media user raised a wider point, writing, "Sometimes I wonder what would make a person like someone so much that they would go crazy with them on stage like this."

Moreover, the fan added, "This one went crazy or just crossed a line? When it is a fan moment it is hype but flip the situation and people would call it inappropriate real quick. Celebs are public not public property. Where is the boundary supposed to be here?"

The resurfaced clip also prompted fans to question the moment given his long term relationship with former tennis star Anna Kournikova.
