Zayn Malik’s family have broken their silence with a new update following his hospitalisation and ongoing medical care.
In the latest update, his cousin Sasha Malik expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support the family has received.
Taking to her official Instagram Story, she said, “We're so grateful for everyone who has reached out to send bouquets! Logistically, it just simply can't work...”
She also encouraged fans to channel their support into a charitable cause, adding, “But we appreciate you all so much please donate anything you'd like on Zayn's behalf to The Palestine Project!”
A message from florist The Hidden Bouquet, shared with family approval, confirmed it had stopped taking further orders due to high demand and directed supporters towards the same fundraiser, noting that donations and messages would be reviewed by the family.
Meanwhile, the One Direction alum had earlier addressed his cancellation of a live performance, writing,
"Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week, I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding,” while also thanking hospital staff for their care.
Sources have since suggested the singer remains under specialist medical supervision and has also stepped away from upcoming media appearances as he continues recovery.
For the unversed, Zayn Malik had earlier posted a photo from hospital and cancelled several scheduled events for promoting his album, KONNAKOL.
