Emily Blunt gives unrealistic advice to young girls, sparking criticism

Emily Blunt, who stars in a woman-centric movie, The Devil Wears Prada 2, recently made a controversial statement to help the young girls.

Although the intention was pure, once the words have left the mouth, it all depends on the person who will be listening to those words.

While promoting her new movie, when asked what advice she has for the young girls, who are all sad and miserable because of their job, the British actress gushed, “Quit,”
Following her one-word answer, Emily explained what she was trying to say.

She stated, “Just find something that you deeply want to do. Even if you’re earning no money, as long as you love it, you’ll be happy.”

The online community also came forward as they added their opinion and humour on the relevant topic and stated, “I tried paying my landlord in 'passion' and 'deep fulfillment', now I am homeless.”

Another added, “But there’s still truth in what Emily Blunt said. Not the “quit everything and follow your dreams” part-but the quiet reminder not to abandon yourself completely.”

Despite the hate, a lot of supporters were of the opinion that she is promoting self-love and nothing is wrong with that, while others questioned her statement, as the reality is very different.

It is to be noted the anticipated movie will be released on May 1st.
