Stephen King’s novel-based 11.22.63 premiered on January 7, 2026 after originally releasing on Hulu in February 2016.

According to the overview, a high school teacher has been given the opportunity to travel back in time and stop the “assassination of John F. Kenndey.”

The teacher, played by James Franco, embarks on a journey back to November 22, 1963 to save the president in the science fiction thriller.

After the show premiered on the streaming platform, the online community expressed their opinions on social media platforms.

One of the X users “highly” recommended the audience to watch the show before admitting that they “need to go read the book now! I’m hooked.”

Another speculated that the miniseries will “probably start trending soon” as they believe that the “plot is tremendous.”

A third netizen appreciated the streaming giant for bringing “movies & shows from the last decade that slipped through the cracks.”

The series earned a strong audience score after is released back in 2016, earning 88% Rotten Tomatoes score and 8 IMDb rating.

It was one of the original contents by Hulu with other shows like The Path and Casual.

11.22.63 was adapted from the writings of Stephen, who also served as the executive producer of the project along with J. J. Abrams, King, Bridget Carpenter and Bryan Burk.
