Kate Hudson reflects on major role she turned down

Kate Hudson is dishing on a massive role that she passed on, and how she thinks it would have been good for het to be involved in the highly popular franchise.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress’s confession comes as a surprise since she could’ve been a part of one of the most successful super hero movies.

In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the Song Sung Blue star was asked if she said no to playing Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man.

"Yes, I did, and now that I look back, it's one of those things where I look back like, 'That would have been nice to be in a Spider-Man movie’ at the same time, I did a movie called Four Feathers,” she stated of the role that ultimately went to Kristen Dunst.

"I got to meet Heath Ledger, who became a very good friend, and I got an experience that I would have never had. So part of me is like, 'Life happens exactly in the way it's supposed to.' And so I'm grateful for it,” Kate added.

Notably, the 46-year-old added that these things were a bit awkward to talk about since the people that end up being tied to the roles are the ones perfect for them.
