Paul Rudd receives apology from Travis Kelce for surprising reason

Paul Rudd and Travis Kelce have had a longstanding bromance, because the actor is a massive fan of the professional footballer’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The duo even connected last year, and have now re-connected for a chat about the team missing the playoffs this season.

During the December 22 episode of the New Heights podcast, the Ant-Man actor made a guest appearance on the sports show and recieved a surprise apology from the tight end.

"As a brother and a Chiefs fan, I love you, I'm sorry, but how are you feeling as a Chiefs fan right now?" Travis asked Paul.

Aw! Well, I'm thinking about you, brother,” the Anaconda actor replied, adding, “honestly, how am I feeling about it? As a Chiefs fan, I am so happy to be a Chiefs fan, the joy and the memories and everything the Chiefs have given me, with my family, with my kid... “

Travis had also revealed that Paul had texted him to check in, after a disappointing season for the three-time Super Bowl champion.

The Friends star then assured the 36-year-old that this wasn’t the most fruitful year for the team but it was alright because the drawback was temporary and that the team would be back on track soon enough.
