Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller are starring together in fourth installation of Meet the Parents movie, Focker In-Law alongside Ariana Grande and the actors shared some banter while praising the singer.
The duo marked a joint appearance at CinemaCon during Universal's presentation on Wednesday for the comedy film.
Amid the conference, the two-time Academy Award winner called the Wicked actress “probably the single most talented screen partner I’ve been lucky enough to share the screen with.”
Meanwhile Stiller stated, “In a way, she’s kind of like the new me,” to which De Niro replied “She got an Oscar nomination. How many of those do you have?”
The Severance creator also compared himself to the Goodfellas actor, attempting to argue that he was the new De Niro, to which the latter stopped him and told him it was disrespectful as the duo playfully bickered.
Stiller had also complimented the Ariana in the past, calling her incredibly professional and a comedic force due to her work on Saturday Night Live.
Notably, he added that he had a blast working with her and that the Bloodline singer brought a new sensibility to the tone of the film.
