Joe Budden is opening up about Nicki Minaj after the singer made a surprise appearance at the Turning Point USA event alongside Erika Kirk.

At the event, the Anaconda rapper made some shocking statements, politically aligning herself with the ideas and policies of the Republicans, namely President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

The rapper-turned podcast host reflected on the Barbie World singer’s appearance and has changed his neutral stance on her.

"Nicki Minaj. Turning Point USA. She went out there. By now, you've seen it. I got a bunch of phone calls about it. I'm out. I'm done,” Joe stated.

“That was it. That was it. Sorry. I'm gone. That's it. Last dance. That was the last candle on the cake for me. Sorry. I'm sorry, Barbz. Sorry, Nick. Don't call me, don't text me. It is what it is," he added.

Joe went on to insinuate that Nicki made a conscious, well thought out decision to go to the event and say the things that she said in support of the politician.

The podcaster added that it made him think that she doesn’t care about how she is being perceived and has as a result lost his favour.

Is Nicki Minaj coming out with a new album?

Yes, Nicki has announced a new unnamed album, slated for release on March 27, 2026.
