Taylor Swift documentary faces online scrutiny for shocking reason

Taylor Swift, who is engaged to Travis Kelce, dropped her most-anticipated documentary The End of An Era after her 12th studio album.

The new project promises to give an unfiltered look at her hit tour that ended in 2024, but fans noticed something about the episodes.

Eagle-eyed admirers are convinced that the entire project is “scripted” as they pointed out major differences between each cut.

In one of the scenes, the Lover crooner can be seen with her hair tied up before the scene cuts to show TV screen and then returns back to her.

However, it was pointed by a netizen that her locks appear tidied as she cheer for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Another behind the scene video went viral showing the Grammy winner giving instructions to her team to make it look like she just entered the place.

The author of the video penned down their criticism on the clip, noting: “Every scene is curated… staged to put” the songstress in the “best light.”

Meanwhile, Swifties jumped in to defend the pop star with one football fan admitting that their hairstyle changes throughout the game.

Why is Taylor Swift receiving backlash on documentary?

It is to be noted that The New Stateman’s writer Finn McRedmond was of the opinion that the documentary is “shallow and dull.”

The author did not find her story authentic, calling her phone calls to fiancé “staged” and lack of “thematic throughline.”
