Rob and Michele Reiner’s alleged murderer Nick, their son, is now in solitary confinement as he faces the charges of killing his parents.

The late couple was found dead in their Brentwood home in Los Angeles by their daughter Romy on December 14.

Few hours later, Nick was arrested from University of South California and presented in court on December 17.

Nick was officially charged two counts of first-degree murder of his parents who were stabbed to death.

The 32-year-old, who is famously known for struggling with drug addiction is now in Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles.

The alleged murderer entered the jail on Monday and has remained on suicide watch given his mental condition.

A police source told People that in the cell, Nick is required to wear a blue suicide-prevention smock at all times.

The medical examiner’s office confirmed the couple’s cause of death being “multiple sharp force injuries”.

If found guilty, he can face life sentence without parole or even death sentence.
