The cult classic Hunger Games prequel Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping already had fans buzzing with the casting reveals, but the latest update has just sealed the deal for any skeptics.

In the Haymitch centered upcoming film, the return of his iconic protégés has been confirmed, and netizens are losing their minds.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, who play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in the series, will be reuniting for the project again, likely in a flash forward scene.

Meanwhile the protagonist of the 2026 movie, who’s teenage will be explored in the film, will be played by Joseph Zada.

As soon as Jennifer and Josh’s return was officially confirmed, internet user flocked social media to express their excitement over the matter.

“Best news all week,” one netizen wrote, as another added, “This is basically 1 billion dollars guaranteed at the box office.”

“OH MY GOD!???????!?!!???????!!????” added a third as a fourth remarked, “The odds of my teenage hyperfixation returning were ever in their favor,” with a crying emoji and a fifth simply wrote "NO WAY."
