Marvel Studios is gearing up to give fans a major nostalgia hit.

Ahead of the December 18, 2026, release of Avengers: Doomsday, the studio has announced that Avengers: Endgame will be re-released in theaters on September 25, 2026.

Details on how long it will stay on screens are still under wraps, but anticipation is already building.

The re-release comes as Joe and Anthony Russo return to the Marvel fold to direct Doomsday, marking the epic comeback of Robert Downey Jr.

Though this time, he’s stepping into the shoes of classic villain Doctor Doom rather than the beloved Tony Stark/Iron Man.

Disney aims to bring back Endgame to give the audience a fresh reminder of the creative magic of the Russo and Marvel's star-studded casts.

The Doomsday will include faces from Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four: First Steps, X-Men, and more.

Endgame originally dropped on April 26, 2019, concluding the saga of Thanos and capping off Marvel’s Phase Three.

The numbers still impress: it raked in $858 million domestically (second only to Star Wars: The Force Awakens), $1.941 billion internationally (behind Avatar), and $2.799 billion globally, making it the second-highest-grossing film worldwide. Its opening weekend alone hit a staggering $1.2 billion, a record at the time.

With Endgame back on the big screen, fans are getting a chance to relive one of Marvel’s most iconic chapters before the next cinematic storm hits.
