Channing Tatum strips down for first meeting with Peter Dinklage

Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum has revealed a hilariously awkward moment on set of his new flick Roofman.

The 45-year-old actor steps into the shoes of real-life crook Jeffrey Manchester, and at one point had to sprint stark naked through a Toys R Us aisle for the cameras.

Tatum told The Hollywood Reporter that his first proper encounter with Dinklage happened during that very scene.

“Peter was so funny and fun in that scene,” he admitted. 

“Which is odd. Not the best time to meet somebody when everything’s out there for the world to see. But it ultimately was fun. You just have to rip the bandaid and roll the camera.”

The Step Up actor also revealed that the scene wasn’t a one-take wonder. 

“I wish we only did it twice. We did it a lot. A lot. A lot. But then after the fact, the director, Derek Cianfrance, was like, ‘Well, what do you want me to do with it? Because you could see stuff.’”

Deadpool & Wolverine star joked about his modesty concerns, saying he didn’t want any black bars or blurring in the final cut. 

Fans will have to wait until Roofman hits screens to see how Tatum navigated the nudity.

Despite that, one thing’s for sure, this is one first meeting Dinklage they won’t forget.
