Jessica Biel ‘excited’ to get back in the acting after nine years

Jessica Biel recently expressed her excitement for making a comeback after nine years in Hollywood.

The American actress spoke to People magazine at San Diego Comic-Con in California on July 25, and opened up that Biel would share the screen with co-stars John Cena, Sam Richardson and Teyonah Parris in an upcoming film, Matchbox the Movie.

“Getting back into the film industry has been something that I’ve been really excited about doing,” she told the outlet.

Biel said, “It has to be right timing, it has to be the right thing.”

Sharing her reason for not working in the movies, the Limetown actress revealed she had little kids and there’s “a lot of elements that go into a decision, for me at least”.

Biel, who shares two sons with husband Justin Timberlake, explained, “I just was inspired by this cast, was inspired by these cars and the nostalgia.”

“I wanted to do something in the action space again, and this just seemed like the right thing. I was really excited to be a part of it,” the 44-year-old added.

Meanwhile, Matchbox the Movie starts premiering on October 9 on Apple TV.
