Netflix released the first volume of Stranger Things finale few days ago, scoring a record breaking IMDB score of 9.8.
The show left at a shocking twist in the series which received rave review from the viewers.
However, fans soon began to see a huge similarity in the storyline of Stranger Things and infamous Harry Potter series as it also revolved around a boy who lived.
According to an online narrative, the “parallelism is canon” between the series and movie series that last released in 2011.
Will Byers, who disappeared in the Netflix original, established a connection with the Upside Down’s Vecna. He can sense its presence through goose bumps on his neck.
Towards the end of latest episode, Will showcased impressive powers that mimicked the antagonist.
On the other hand, Harry got a lightening scar on his forehead that hurts whenever Voldemort is in closer proximity.
Several clips were compared side by side and were said to have identical meaning attached. Moreover, the antagonists of both also resembles due to their similar facial features.
Fans now speculate that “one has to die so the other lives” just as it was in Harry Potter. A netizen believes that Will will embrace death at the end of the series to “come back to life.”
The second volume will come out on Christmas while the final episode will premiere on New Year’s Eve.
