Andrew braces for new Epstein shockwaves as files set for release

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may soon face another wave of humiliation as royal insiders warn that a “fresh deluge of allegations” could emerge when the full Jeffrey Epstein files are released.

The former duke, stripped of all titles and honours by King Charles, has remained a long-running source of public embarrassment for the monarchy due to his ties to the convicted sex offender.

This week, US President Donald Trump signed new legislation compelling his administration to publish all documents related to Epstein within 30 days.

That includes Justice Department files, communications, and materials connected to the investigation into Epstein’s controversial 2019 death in federal custody.

The move follows mounting political pressure within Trump’s own party after the White House initially resisted the release.

At the same time, Andrew had been formally summoned to appear before the US Congress to answer questions about his connections to Epstein.

He was given until today to respond to the committee’s letter, though it remains unclear whether he complied. Andrew has long denied all accusations made against him.

Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl told The Sun that the worst may yet be ahead for the King’s disgraced brother.

She warned: “Well, I think everyone in the Royal Family is hoping that we’ve heard the last of the Andrew allegations. Of course, you know, if the Epstein files are made completely public and this sort of drip-feeding ends, then you could be in for a deluge, right?”

She continued: “We don’t really know, and I think what’s been so extraordinary about this story is there’s a bit like it’s had a boomerang effect, right?”

Nicholl added that the saga consistently resurfaces in damaging ways: “It keeps coming back, just when you think it’s stopped… it comes back in the most extraordinary, and for Andrew, catastrophic, catastrophic ways. So I think, don’t hold your breath. There could very possibly be more.”
