Fresh fears have emerged that Princess Eugenie may be preparing to follow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle across the Atlantic.
With the monarchy once again shaken by scandal, particularly surrounding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s links to Jeffrey Epstein, rumours are swirling that Princess Eugenie could be the next royal to pursue a life in the United States.
According to The Mirror, a royal expert recently claimed that Prince Harry has “deep regrets” about leaving the UK and remains deeply attached to his homeland, as reflected in his emotional essay about being British.
Yet Harry’s own relocation may now be influencing another family member’s thinking.
The National Enquirer reports that Princess Eugenie has been leaning heavily on her cousin Harry and Meghan during the turmoil surrounding her father.
A source told the publication that, “Eugenie by no means wants to turn her back on the monarchy, but it’s very uncomfortable for her in London at the moment.”
The insider added that Harry and Meghan have been encouraging her to consider life beyond the UK and royal constraints, with StyleCaster reporting: “So Harry and Meghan have been urging Eugenie to break out of the royal bubble and spend more time in America.”
In addition, Harry and Meghan have reportedly offered to help Eugenie secure work should she choose to spend extended time abroad.
Potential opportunities include involvement with the Invictus Games or joining Meghan’s lifestyle venture, As Ever.
