Princess Dianas brutal secret opinion of Andrew comes to surface in new book

A bombshell new royal book claims Princess Diana held a deeply unflattering view of her former brother-in-law, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

In Entitled: The Rise And Fall Of The House Of York, author Andrew Lownie reveals that the late Princess of Wales privately expressed strong opinions about Andrew’s personality, describing him in terms that now carry striking relevance given his fall from grace.

According to Lownie, Diana found Andrew’s behaviour disruptive and troubling, noting his tendency toward attention-seeking and immaturity. She reportedly confided: "He was very, very noisy and loud... It occurred to me that there was something troubling him."

She went on to add that his personality "wasn't for me" and described him as "very happy to sit in front of the television all day watching cartoons and videos", summing him up bluntly as "not a doer".

Though Andrew is believed to have maintained a cordial relationship with his younger brother, Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex is reportedly aligned with King Charles’s uncompromising stance.

Royal expert and Brothers and Wives author Christopher Andersen previously said: “Andrew bullied his little brother when they were younger, but they grew closer over the years. Still, Edward has no choice but to fully support Charles in his efforts to rid himself of the problematic [royal].”

Meanwhile, pressure mounted again this week as Andrew faces accusations of deliberately avoiding scrutiny from US lawmakers investigating Epstein’s network.

A formal letter sent to Andrew, signed by 16 members of Congress, has ordered him to respond by Thursday, marking another dramatic chapter in the escalating saga around the former duke.
