Fresh speculation is mounting inside royal circles that Andrew’s forced departure from Royal Lodge may be far more than a simple relocation, and could, in fact, be part of a carefully coordinated plan to pave the way for Prince Harry’s return to the monarchy.
According to palace-connected royal commentator and former Royal photographer Ian Pelham Turner, the timing is no coincidence.
He believes a behind-the-scenes agreement has been quietly reached between King Charles and Prince William, designed to help ease tensions and create circumstances that would allow Harry to rejoin the Royal fold in the near future.
“All these negotiations, perhaps, for example, with Harry have been accelerated,” he told the Express US.
Central to his theory is Prince Andrew’s removal from Royal Lodge to a home on the Sandringham estate, a move that puts him more than 100 miles away from the rest of the senior royals.
“I think William feels very aggrieved at Harry. So Charles has done a trade-off.”
According to Pelham Turner, the monarch has long wanted his younger son back in the family, while the Prince of Wales remained resistant. The solution, he claims, was to remove Andrew.
“There are very few people who really know what's going on within the Royal family.”
