Prince Harry’s growing desire to rebuild bridges with the royal family could dramatically transform Meghan Markle’s public standing, potentially elevating her into global leadership territory, a royal expert has suggested.
According to royal commentator and former palace photographer Ian Pelham Turner, Harry appears to be deliberately moderating his public remarks as he quietly pursues a path back into royal service.
At the same time, he believes Meghan is stepping forward with greater confidence and visibility, creating what he calls a “highly effective partnership dynamic.”
Pelham Turner said, "Harry will comment about certain things, but he's toned down a lot as well, and he's letting Meghan be slightly more outspoken, more resourceful."
"I think in reality, Meghan is a world leader. And I think if they just stopped attacking her all the time and just let her calm down, that she would rise to the top ranks."
The expert believes Harry’s recent private meeting with King Charles in the UK marked a turning point in a long-awaited reconciliation.
Pelham Turner noted Meghan’s strength of character, adding that she has “always been comfortable expressing what she believes in.”
"Harry does the same, but Harry has a slightly quieter personality. I think sometimes it's fine because where he is right now, I've noticed that Harry has toned down his remarks."
"Anything that Harry says right now, it, what's going on in the back of his head is he doesn't want to mess up any opportunity to come back with Meghan and the children."
"However, it wouldn't just be Harry, the plan would be for the entire Sussex family to return to the UK and be welcomed back into the fold."
"I think there might be changes in the wind much quicker than we imagined right now."
