Prince Harry’s team made a claim that has been denied by the Palace sources.
The Duke of Sussex, who has been living in the US since 2020, announced trip to Canada earlier this month.
The trip was planned around Remembrance Day in Toronto to commemorate the day.
The trip came at the same time as Prince William was visiting Brazil for his major visit that focused on enviromental activisim.
As per Harry’s team, the Palace was informed of his trip which has been refuted by the sources, as per People.
While the Duke’s team said Palace was informed, the sources have reported that the trip caught palace aides by surprise.
Harry’s trip was announced on November 3, the same day William landed in Brazil.
William’s Earthshot Awards were a big moment for him which reports suggest was overshadowed by Harry’s trip as well as King Charles’ knighting David Beckham on the same day.
Earlier this year, Harry had shared his annual schedule with the Palace as a gesture to extend olive branch.
It was done beforehand to avoid such conflicts of “overshadowing” royal family’s work.
