Meghan Markle is preparing for the December debut of her holiday-themed special of With Love, Meghan on Netflix, but new polling suggests she may be facing an uphill battle when it comes to viewership.
The Duchess of Sussex announced the festive instalment on Instagram, unveiling the promotional artwork and writing: "Embrace traditions and make new ones this holiday season. With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration arrives December 3rd on @netflix."
The upcoming episode is expected to follow the familiar lifestyle format featured in her earlier seasons, with Meghan inviting notable guests to a picturesque California setting while sharing seasonal hosting, cooking, and entertaining ideas. Netflix has not yet released a trailer.
However, a recent Express poll indicates that audience interest may be significantly lower than hoped.
Between November 12 and November 14, a total of 2,497 readers voted on whether they planned to watch the Christmas episode, and the results were overwhelmingly negative.
An astonishing 2,470 respondents said they will not be watching the holiday special, compared to just 21 who said they would tune in. Another six voters said they were unsure.
In the comments section, the responses were even more blunt. One reader wrote: "No I would rather stick needles in my eyes."
Another remarked: "I would rather watch my toenails grow."
